AMAZING GIFT ON MY 38th BIRTHDAY

Its been a while,  no,  actually it's more than a year, since I haven't done this (blog). I was taken by life and made some huge decisions that would gradually change my lifetime.

Anyway, I was inspired to get back here since, there's much that I would like to write about at yet though.   At the moment,  let me fast forward and rewind some events that beautifully happened while I was distant and remote.

My 38th birthday came, and though I can't narrate now how it goes,  I can say, it was the most wonderful birthday I ever have for all my life.

Thus, i wish I had posted this earlier so the thought could serve it's purpose better. However belatedly, I would like to holler to the most amazing person I've came across with, my heartfelt gratitude for gifting me these on my 38th birthday.

Over all,  I don't know what to say...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORVILLE

I was tagged again for a birthday treat to a place which is something new to our taste. Hence, this time we had the Urban kitchen located within the heart of Tuguegarao City. It was a plain lunch for the three of us. 

Jorville is my godson and he turned 7 year old yesterday. As to his Mom, this is not exactly his celebration for there's un upcoming outing for the young boy, come extra time. Well, i wish we could come. 

Anyway, this was my first time to try this place and my order was this: pork liempo (binalot style) with red iced tea.

It's a fine treat! Wish I had Destine with us.

FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL

My school life has come into play again, hence, no more slacks days like that of my summer. But wait, I'll just explain some on my next post, why i wasn't able to complete my summer to do list in this blog.

Meantime, let me just share to you my exciting first days for this school year in law school as a second year. On the first day, we have an assembly presided by our dean and gosh! There were too many students in the row. Anyway! Welcome to law school!

Coming now to our classes, first day of course is merely introduction, passing of class cards and getting to know. Bloopers also takes place at the outset. Ha! ha!

'twas 2nd day of class when teacher1 came in while the students were oblivious and on their own business, teacher1 got mad and said "weren't you not taught to stand up when your teacher step inside the room?, even in court lawyers stood up when the Judge entered the court room, and when you stand up, it means that you are ready, blah! blah! blah!" well, he is very right with that. So the students complied. On the next day, teacher2 came in and all students stood up, teacher2 was surprised and said "why did you stood up when i came in? do you want us to pray?". Seriously? Ha Ha!! Thus, life!

Well, anyway, class opening is like a reunion where you get to meet your close friends in school after a long vacation. So the tendency is that you will have your cheers to the glamor the days. And here's our first date for the first days of school.

22/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: 2ND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

I am still on my hectic day but I intended the 7th of May a day to celebrate my sons Birthday. It happened as a simple kids get together and at the end of the day it was a huge success for me. I was there all the time and I saw how happy my son were.

I was so excited to wake up that day, my Mama and I prepared early in cooking the foods but as soon as Destine woke up, I left Mama the cooking and attended to the birthday boy. We went to church first and then buy a cake. Then we went to my office where the get together was held.

I haven't prepared any games for the kids, it was just an open play for them with sweet servings every now and then and I saw them all enjoying just as it is. Later, the birthday wishes, candle blowing and the Happy Birthday song.

Eat. Eat. Eat.

I let him rest for a while then, because there is another party that we shall be holding in the afternoon at our place, wherein we invited kids in our neighbors.

But my birthday boy is kinda tired maybe that he does not cooperate well in picture taking anymore.

But here's what we got in the afternoon celebration. There's almost same food served in our morning celebration minus the ice cream and this time it's a different cake. :) 

But in all it was an equal elation for me as the planner of this event and seeing my son awed in people and things. Celebrating 2 years of life is an opportunity of more discoveries.

17/60 THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: MADE BIRTHDAY INVITATION

I've been thinking how to make the invitation for the 2nd birthday of my son because I don't want to buy the pre made birthday invitation in the store. I want something original and unique. I also wanted it to be creatively done and a little artistic on the side. However, it turned out to be a simple one because of the less time i had to do it. Nonetheless, I've already distributed it yesterday hoping those i invited will come and say happy birthday to Destiny. :)

12/60: THINGS TO DO THIS SUMMER: ATTENDED BIRTHDAY TREAT

40, Life Begins! That's my words to Mam Sheng /Chelle, my colleague, my mentor and i have her thanked for being my partner in crime at times. She celebrated her 40th birthday last April 24. It was an unplanned night swimming at Chateau Leonor, the idea just came in later that afternoon when all of us were busy with our work and beating some deadline. The celebrant was kinda anxious preparing. The event was even supposedly cancelled due to unavailability of time but it was still push through later. We've got all cheered in before the night ended that day. Indeed at 40, a life shall begin.

STUCKED AND NOSTALGIC

There'd been a lot of things that's crossing my mind and i kept on rumbling and vocalizing my mixed thoughts lately here, maybe because I want something new in my life and wants to get rid of this routinary things, and maybe just a little bored with the usuality of things around. Uh Uh! I've been thinking hard lately, so hard that it consumed much of my time. Now, the day is moving and it's moving forward, hence, i hope that my life will move as well. 

I felt so stucked in a doldrum of broken roads, of nostalgic Novembers and of nonchalant humanity. But troubled not, myself, because sun will always shine after the rain and when the colors of the rainbow starts to appear, it means a new hope so save you vigor.

Worries will only put you to waste your most precious time, hence, you won't get things done. Just give your self sometime and some space to find your self again. Pick your self up and never mind the fall, after all life is a journey and to spice it with happiness is different, is something you must give to yourself. To have a happy journey!
